Fun and Friendly Bootcamp!



No, the name of this class is NOT an oxymoron! It IS possible to enjoy your bootcamp experience. You can laugh, sweat, and get strong at the same time!

This fall, beginning September 12, I am offering this 45-minute indoor bootcamp basics class. Join me on Tuesdays at 10:30am at Roger Carter Community Center in Ellicott City, Maryland for the 12-week session. Fun and Friendly Bootcamp is a great class for people new to bootcamp. Beginners will learn all the bootcamp basics, such as pushups, burpees, bear crawls, squats, lunges, dead lifts, kettlebell swings, and lots more! All of these exercises can be modified for participants who need a little less challenge. For those students who are already strong and proficient, heavier weights will offer additional challenge. Everyone performs each exercise at their own level, according to their own needs and preferences. You can choose your own weights, or choose to use no weights at all.

We make use of all the various types of equipment available at the Roger Carter Community Center. Some of the possibilities include hand held dumbbells, stretchy bands, stability balls, steps, medicine balls, sliding discs, and kettlebells. The different kinds of equipment allows us to explore many different types of exercises and creates enough variety to keep every class interesting. Boredom is never a problem!
