I love to cook, but not everyone enjoys it. I know many people feel like cooking is a chore. One way to simplify your cooking is to invest in a few of these seasoning mixes from Trader Joe's.
Trader Joe's has put together a few signature seasoning mixes which are SO useful. We have been using these for ages, and they make whipping up a meal really easy. No matter what you're making for dinner, there's a seasoning to go with it!
My number one go-to is Everything Bagel Seasoning. This one contains sesame seeds, poppy seeds, onion, garlic, and salt. It's great on salads (just mix your oil and vinegar or lemon juice with a sprinkle of seasoning!) and any kind of deli sandwich. Mix it into tuna, egg, or chicken salad. Sprinkle on scrambled eggs, bagels with cream cheese, or any savory brunch dish. Also great on Asian stir-fry or noodle dishes! Works on sushi! Really versatile.
We also use 21 Seasoning Salute on a regular basis. This is my husband's go-to. He sprinkles this stuff on burgers, steaks, roasts, and basically anything made of meat. It is salt-free but full of flavor. I use it in chili and spaghetti sauce. It contains loads of herbs as well as lemon and tomato crystals. Tangy and delicious!
The newest addition of our seasoning line-up is Umami Seasoning. This one contains dried mushrooms, red pepper flakes, and salt. Simply divine in soups, chili, spaghetti sauce, omelets, or anywhere you might put mushrooms. Great on steaks! Gives a deeper, meatier flavor. Makes you say, "Ooh, mommy! That's umami!"
The Chili Lime Seasoning is great, too, especially if you make a lot of Latino dishes. It has a tart bite from the lime, and some spicy heat. Excellent on chili, burritos, nachos, quesadillas, or in a taco salad.
Have you tried any of these awesome seasonings? How do you use them? Which one is your favorite?
